20 years! Can you believe it?

Our 20 year reunion is scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 7:00pm.

Once you've had a chance to read up on the Reunion Details, you can Purchase Tickets here.

I hope to see you there!

  1. Joe Fritzen January 31, 2007 @ 03:26 PM
That's an interesting note from George, since it appears that Sue is doing all of the work!
  2. George Gianforcaro February 01, 2007 @ 02:41 PM
Joe, I'm sure you know people who do a lot of work in the background .... but let others take all the credit and limelight. Need I say more? LOL…. I’m looking forward to seeing you in October.
  3. Eileen Whelpley February 19, 2007 @ 07:42 PM
Eileen here, just poking my head in to say hi....Say, I remember George - - (you wouldn't remember me) and I'm surprised to see I remember nearly all the names on the "missing" persons list. This makes my heart swell in sweet remembrance. I would break out my "we've got tonight" MSH prom coffee mug, except for that I finally Good Willed it on the last clean out effort at my parents house this past summer. I will CONSIDER paying the steep admission fee to this event, but only if cajoled into it. I've got some time to think about it.
  4. K.A.E........ March 27, 2007 @ 07:04 PM
    HEY SUE, GEORGE, GOOD WORK!
  5. Brian Lyle April 03, 2007 @ 09:31 PM
Hey Eileen - I can't believe you unloaded your "We've Got Tonight" coffee mug. Hope to see you in October!
  6. Kevin Lovejoy June 13, 2007 @ 12:28 PM
20 years...damn! Seems like just yesterday.....
  7. Lydia Eriksen June 15, 2007 @ 05:15 PM
I just picked up my babysitter yesterday from her last day of high school and became nostalgic...Sandi Debbert and I will be there in October.... and yes, we're still the best of friends.... going on 32 years now!
  8. Lisa (Schuetz) Burns June 21, 2007 @ 04:11 PM
WOW! Hard to believe that it's been that long. Our girls' babysitters both graduated tonight from Mendham ~ what goes around, comes around. Eileen and Brian, you'll laugh ~ I still have our Jr. Prom mug at home...can't let that one go, especially since Greg and I went together. Hope to see everyone in October. Brian, will you be there ~ having a hard time getting Greg to go, but if he knows you'll be there, maybe I can cajole him...
  9. Eileen Whelpley June 28, 2007 @ 08:32 PM
Lisa: Oh, definately if you are married to your date that totally makes sense to keep that mug. Another story: 0ne younger brother of mine met and married his MHS sweetheart, that sweetheart's sister is now my sister in law - a MHS alum from our year. She was an international jet-setter then, and is a jetsetter spy of some sort now...name starts with J-- Brian: amigo, hola to you as well!
  10. Brian Lyle July 07, 2007 @ 03:46 PM
Hey Lisa! Tell Greg he must attend. I definitely plan on going. . . well, as long as the Rogaine starts to work by October. Eileen: No more "good willing" your MHS memorabilia. Hope to see you in Oct.
  11. Kurt Lauerman July 25, 2007 @ 02:10 PM
So where are we going to go drink on Friday night? I'm flying in so somebody better hang with me!!
  12. George Gianforcaro August 14, 2007 @ 08:03 AM

  13. Steffani (Smith) Adaska August 23, 2007 @ 11:56 AM
Holy Friggin' 20 Years! I am very much looking forward to seeing many familiar faces in Oct. Are there any special "events" planned for Friday evening? Whose parents are going away that weekend? Perhaps we can get a keg or two, get some beer bongs going, play a few games of Quarters and trash the place. Just like old times! HA - just kidding (sort of). Can't wait to see everyone! Safe travels to all! Steffani
  14. karen wetterschneider August 28, 2007 @ 01:03 PM
Eileen, I was just thinking about you this weekend oddly enough. I was in NYC with my husband for the night and hanging out in SOHO and on Canal Street. I recall us hitching a ride to the train station in Morristown with some young banker. He couldn't have been but around 22 and we thought he was old! Anyway, I have thought about that day through the years, each time I am in NY and I love to go down Canal Street. Hope all is well!
  15. Cathy Roncskevitz August 28, 2007 @ 02:35 PM
I can't wait to see all of you as reading the postings to date made me very nostalgic too. I think it would help if someone could post who bought tickets so far...it may lure some of the "anonymous cowards" out of the closet. Not me of course, I can't be a coward as I don't think I have seen any of my fellow 87er's since graduation. Eeks! I will be attending, I am just being a slacker about buying the ticket. Got to line up the babysitter for the 3 kids. Cathy
  16. Scott Braddock August 29, 2007 @ 06:15 PM
May I ask what is wrong with our mascot? The ol' geezer's got some plumbing problems, methinks.
  17. George Gianforcaro September 04, 2007 @ 08:14 PM
Hello Cathy, per your request, below is a list of classmates who have told us that they will be there on Oct. 6th. and/or people who have already purchased tickets: Jonathan Ackerman, Trippy Ansede, Margaret Arnold, Rich Bakos, Kristyn Balderson, Susan Barnes, Kim Berenbak, Peter Bosco, Bill Boutwell, Kurt Brecheisen, Greg Burns, Mark Burns, Mike Buttomer, Jill Cappadona, Wendy Carlin, Michele Compton, Marc Cooley, Sandy Debbert, Joe DeLany, Kathy DelGiorno, Doug DeMaio, Nicole DiMeo, David DiSabato, Peter Dolan, Rich Doran, Dave Edwards, Jill Erfurt, Lydia Eriksen, Jenna Firestone, Pete Fleming, George Gianforcaro, Sean Hamer, Ken Hanna, Heather Heath, Kristen Hettling, Beth Hutchins, Jay Isaacson, Brad Keating, Matt Kelly, Todd Kijanka, Kurt Lauerman, Kristin Levato, Mark Libman, Kevin Lovejoy, Brian Lyle, Jim MacMillan, Eric MacMillan, Jenn Marks, Roger Matthews, Amanda Meade, Rich Michaluk, Andrew Myers, Mike Nervine, Kevin O'Connor, Guido Panzera, Rob Patton, Dianne Pedersen, Todd Pigott, Dawn Quinto, Melissa Reynolds, Maria Ricciardi, Cathy Roncskevitz, Mark Root, Mike Rosselli, Laura SanGiovanni, Sheila Scanlon, Lisa Schultz, Frank Shuler, Steffani Smith, Chris Soldovieri, Lisa Somerville, Scott St. John, Jay Stark, Terry Strack, Wayne Weeks, Bob Wooley
  18. George Gianforcaro September 04, 2007 @ 08:27 PM
Some questions recently came up about the reunion ticket sales; To answer your questions, we are on pace to have about 130 +/- people in attendance the night of the reunion. Also, we have found that about 70% of the alumni who purchased tickets are bringing a spouse (or guest.)
  19. Sue Ireland September 07, 2007 @ 03:27 PM
2 weeks and counting to purchase tickets. I can't beleive the reunion is right around the corner. It seems like yesterday when I started contacting classmates and got the ball rolling. The ticket sales are going great and a lot of classmates are coming. I can't wait to see everyone and catch up. It should be a fun night out. I look forward to seeing everyone Saturday, Oct 6th.
  20. Eileen Whelpley September 07, 2007 @ 03:47 PM
Urg! - - Sorry to announce I don't think I can go now, As I have to be back in NJ 10 days later for a Consumer Reports ball. It doesn't make sense to cross coasts twice in two weeks.... But thanks George for posting the confirmed list. Kim and Maria: I'm so sorry I won't be seeing you, as I've known you both since fourth grade, that would've been fun to meet. And Karen, thanks for the story, yes, I vaguely remember that! Going to NY and hanging out near Canal Street was VERY important indeed. I swear, I remember high school much more vividly than college, perhaps it was the pain and torture that makes it stick. I am most proud that senior year I won second runner up as "most oblivious to the world." - if I got that correctly. In any case, please don't let me deter anyone from going, if anything, you must go FOR me. As for me, I still live like a teenager, in a crash pad in SF - I live with one of my brothers, we watch cartoons and go to concerts across the street. The thing that resembles adulthood is that I have a job. Anyone come visit if you like aerobeds. Flamencoeileen@hotmail.com All my best and please, someone take notes, and write about the event afterwards! - - Eileen
  21. George Gianforcaro September 07, 2007 @ 06:43 PM

  26. Cathy Roncskevitz September 13, 2007 @ 06:42 PM
Now that I know Eric Roth and Jay Isaacson and so many others are going I am all over this reunion! Thanks so much for printing the attendees, George. If I were going to be exact weight in high school I think the reunion would have to be about 6 months away! I better get on that treadmill too, or just run back and forth to work every day for the next few weeks. Can't wait to see you all there.
  27. maria ricciardi September 13, 2007 @ 07:06 PM

  28. Paul Ferrara September 13, 2007 @ 07:07 PM
Wow... memory lane. Reading the list of attendees floods the ol' database. Hopefully, Jack Daniels will be present at the festivities as I will be in attendance for our every expanding gala. I’m really looking forward to seeing all the old faces again (or rather, older). It will be interesting to see how everyone changed over the years. Speaking of change… hey Braddock, I’m glad to hear the surgery went well. It must have been real awkward not having a 3rd nipple after all these years. Thankfully, you don’t have to wear those damn leak pads anymore… and that you can now wear white! That crazy bastard. He’s always been shy about it… but why digress. Hey, see everyone there!
  29. Sue Ireland September 14, 2007 @ 10:15 AM
Attire: We have gotten a lot of questions about what to wear to the Reunion. There are no firm rules, but anything from smart casual/business casual to cocktail attire is fine.
  30. George Gianforcaro September 14, 2007 @ 12:14 PM
Add two more to our list: ...... Joe Fritzen, Paul Ferrara
  31. George Gianforcaro September 14, 2007 @ 12:47 PM

  32. Lydia Eriksen September 14, 2007 @ 05:26 PM
Hey, a few of us are headed over to the Callaloo Cafe in Morristown on Friday night, 10/5, to hear an old friend from our class play in a band.... open invite to anyone who is interested. He's on from 6:30 - 8:30, then we're hanging out for drinks after.
  33. Amy (Webster) Kiser September 14, 2007 @ 07:35 PM
It's good to see so many familiar names - I can't believe I haven't seen most of you in 20 years! I'm leaving my husband at home with the kids so he won't get bored with tales of my geeky high school existence...
  34. Maria R September 14, 2007 @ 08:59 PM
Eileen,You will be missed. Thanks for thinking of me,I hope life"s been good to you.If your ever in FL look me up.Send me your e-mail and I'll catch you up after the reunion.Take care-Maria
  35. Beth Noble Tykodi September 15, 2007 @ 06:22 PM
Hello everyone! Unfortunately I won't be able to make the reunion this time around. My husband travels quite a bit and will be away over the weekend of the reunion. I have two little ones and can't find anyone brave enough to take them on for the entire weekend. (We live in NH, so it would be a bit of a trek for me). Hope you guys have a wonderful time, sorry to miss it. Hey Cathy...... I still have nightmares about "Baby M"...how could you forget all of those post mhs parties at Cornell?
  36. Kristen (Tortorella) Lewis September 16, 2007 @ 03:50 PM
Thank you Sue and George for organizing the reunion! I (like Amy) will be leaving my 2-year-old son at home with my husband so that I can make this short trip down memory lane...I'm a 2nd grade teacher (living far, far away in S.C.), and at this time of year it's not easy to take days off, so I'll only be there for the Saturday night festivities. I'm looking forward to it!
  37. Cathy Roncskevitz September 16, 2007 @ 06:14 PM
Beth! I have been wanting to get in touch with you for YEARS! I am so sad you won't be going. Please email me... catmovet@yahoo.com Kristen and Amy-I can't wait to see you!

  43. Doug DeMaio September 19, 2007 @ 10:18 AM
Sue, George, Wendy, Thank you so much for what you are doing. We are all so very busy but must take the time to be with friends and family when we can - I am really looking forward to this! Like many others, I will be leaving the family here as the trip from Sumter, S.C. is a haul. Oh, by the way, it'll be nice to push it up a bit alone with my old friends Ray, Brian, Pete and Bill! I can smell trouble already. Please drop me a line if you have time, or I'll just see ya there soon. Take care.

Kristen and Cathy, excited that I'll be seeing you! Kristen, I would have thought you'd take after our AP Senior English teacher (what was her name?!) instead of being one for 2nd graders.
  48. Brad Keating September 20, 2007 @ 02:08 PM
Sorry I am going to miss the reunion. I cannot believe that it has been 20 years! Perhaps I will bump into a few old classmates on Friday evening if you are at some of the local watering holes. All the best!
  49. Kristen (Tortorella) Lewis September 20, 2007 @ 03:36 PM
Hello again! Amy, I'm still teaching kids how to be better writers, so I do hope that Mrs. Jackson would be proud! I never grew taller than five feet, so somehow it's just easier for me to teach the little ones. I'm glad the list of attendees is getting longer each day, and I will know so many people at our reunion. Amy, Meara, Kurt, Cathy, Doug, Ray--bring your photos! I'm sure there are lots of great kid pictures to share!
  50. Meara Quinn Denton September 20, 2007 @ 05:21 PM

  56. karen wetterschneider (collis) September 28, 2007 @ 11:51 AM
Just looking over the list of attendees and wow, what a crowd! Alison good to see your name! You in NJ still? I am actually in Philadelphia, two hours from Mendham, and due to give birth to my first baby (boy) on Oct. 9th so I won't be making the reunion, but sure would have been a good cover up for weight gain after high school!: ) Alison, or anyone, feel free to email karenannew@gmail.com. High school was a blur to me, transferring in from overseas so though everyone's name is familiar, not a lot of strong ties. Though I look forward to hearing stories and seeing pictures so hopefully someone will post the event.
  57. george gianforcaro October 01, 2007 @ 07:38 AM

Can't wait to see y'all but not looking forward to the flight up from Atlanta.....for those of you ex-musicians, Mr. Beavers is hoping to make a suprise drop in to let you know he's still alive and kickin! 65. Kevin Lovejoy October 11, 2007 @ 11:09 AM
Unfortunately I had conflicting reunions (college/HS), so I was bummed to miss this one, but possibly there will be a 25 yr? Wow, even typing 25 yr reunion seems strange, since it seems like just yesterday in so many ways. Sounds like the turn-out was much better than the 10 year reunion and everyone had a fun time. Looking forward to next time. Kevin Lovejoy Kevin@GetYourClix.com

Age sure is a bitch, or a bastard, depending ....
